User Reviews: I cannot describe in words that how grateful I am to the people at The Recovery Village at Ridgefield for helping my daughter is going through her rehab treatment. I have only heard nice things about the facility ever since she came back. To begin with, they received her at the airport and took care of her luggage on their way to the facility. She was allotted a really nice room and was fed with the food of her choice. The food was served three times and my daughter says that it used to be delicious. They use to let me talk to her every now and then which helped us a lot as we were able to actually notice the positive change as it appeared. My girl is living a sober life now and as a mother, I cannot be thankful enough for their help. Best of luck!

Latest Reviews Of Rehab Centers In Washington WA
Tools are taught with respect. Clear expectations and many choices.
I was unsure before I moved to Tacoma Pierce County Health Department Treatment Services Unit 1 that will I be able to complete my detox this time. I had a history of escaping facilities and I really didn’t want to go through that again. To my surprise, I started to like the facility in a couple of days. Their staff was very kind and energetic. You also cannot get bored at this facility. There is a number of activities that you can engage in to get your mind off of the withdrawal symptoms. I’ve been clean for a month and a half now and it looks like it’s going to be like this for the rest of my life. THANK YOU!
My friend and I came together for treatment. A lot of treatment centers don’t allow you to come with a friend but Future Visions Program Inc gave us a chance. I am proud to say that both I and my friend are coming up on our 6 months of sobriety because of this place!
WA Substance Abuse Facts
Substance abuse and dependence are common conditions that could impact both physical and mental wellbeing and have serious, if not fatal consequences.
- Almost 700 people died of opioid overdoses in 2016, based on preliminary reports.
- More than 2,000 Washington residents died from medication - or alcohol-related causes in 2015.
- More than 5 percent of adults aged 18-25 from the country have been estimated to have used cocaine (including crack) in the last year.
Although drug and alcohol abuse affects so many Washington residents, the fact remains that not everybody who needs addiction treatment has it. In 2015, there were approximately 337,000 people in Washington with a diagnosable alcohol use disorder; however, that a single-day count of this state's rehabilitation centers showed registration of just over 50,000.
Abusing substances like opioids, methamphetamine, alcohol, and even prescription medications can have a serious detrimental effect on a person's livelihood and wellbeing. If you display compulsive behavior related to medication use, continue to use drugs despite adverse effects, or have tried unsuccessfully to stop using drugs on your own, you may have a substance use disorder that needs professional treatment.
