Southern California Alcohol & Drug Programs, Inc. has developed Drug & Alcohol Counseling Services, (D.A.C.S.) as required under California's Penal Code (1001.1 through 1001.00, inclusive, referring to the procedure of postponing prosecution of an offense filed as a misdemeanor either temporarily or permanently at any point in the judicial process until adjudication occurs).  D.A.C.S. is a drug diversion program divided into three separate components termed "tracks." Clients are placed in the appropriate track most suited to their individual needs and/or court requirements.
